Standard Cleaning (Non-Deep Cleaning)
This checklist defines what is INCLUDED in a standard / regular cleaning service. It does NOT include
deep cleaning, heavy grease removal, limescale build up, inside cupboards, inside appliances, or moving
heavy furniture.
Cloth / Towel Colour Coding
• Red towels – Bathroom & toilet only (toilet has a separate red towel)
• Yellow towels – Kitchen surfaces only
• Blue towels – General rooms only
• Grey towels – Floors only
Rules:
• Towels must NEVER be mixed between areas.
• Toilet towels must NEVER be reused elsewhere.
• Floor towels must NEVER be used on surfaces.
REQUIRED PRODUCTS & EQUIPMENT
Equipment
• Microfibre towels in multiple colours (red, yellow, blue, grey)
• Vacuum cleaner
• Mop and bucket
Cleaning Products
• Surface cleaner (general use)
• Degreaser (kitchen use only)
• Towel bleach (for disinfecting towels only – not surfaces)
• Light Tidying: organise worktops and tables. Do not open cupboards or drawers.
• Surface Cleaning (Exterior Only): wipe worktops, cupboard fronts, drawer fronts, splashback, table
tops.
• Sink & Hob: clean sink, taps, drain area, and hob surface (top only). No dismantling.
• White Goods (Exterior Only): wipe fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave fronts.
• Windows: clean inside glass, frames, and sills. No streaks.
• Skirting Boards: dust visible areas only.
• Floors: vacuum and disinfect. Do not over wet.
• Final Touch: light air freshening only
- Light Tidying: organise toys, clothes, and visible items. No wardrobes or drawers.
- Make beddings(if applicable).
- Dusting & Surface Wipe: tables, shelves, units, window sills, wall insets.
- Wood Polishing: wooden tables, shelves, units, ornaments only.
- Glass & Screens: mirrors, glass tables, frames, TV screens (no direct spray).
- Windows: internal glass, frames, and sills (excluding conservatories).
- Skirting Boards: dust visible areas only.
Floors: vacuum carpets and disinfect hard floors. - Final Touch: light air freshening.

• Sanitising: toilet (inside & out), bath, shower, basin, taps.
• Shower Doors: clean glass and frames. No streaks.
• Mirrors: polish with clean cloth only.
• Windows: internal glass, frames, and sills.
• Skirting Boards: dust visible areas only.
• Floors: vacuum and disinfect. Start far corner → exit.
• Final Touch: light air freshening only.
• No streaks on mirrors or windows
• No footprints or wet patches on floors
• No cross contamination of towels
• Property smells fresh, not overpowering
Detailed Deep Cleaning Checklist
This checklist is for deep / detailed cleaning services only. It goes beyond standard cleaning. Sofa and
carpet shampoo are excluded unless booked separately.
• Steam cleaning used where applicable
• Degreaser used on grease-affected areas
• All accessible surfaces must be cleaned
• Clean all windows, frames, rails, tracks, and sills
• Steam clean window rails where buildup exists
• Deep clean all doors, frames, edges, and handles
• Deep clean all skirting boards and edge
• Clean light fittings, bulbs, lamp holders, and lampshades
• Clean inside oven, fridge, microwave, and laundry appliances (if applicable)
• Steam clean and degrease all kitchen surfaces
• Clean all cupboards and drawers inside and outside
• Clean all white goods surfaces
• Clean hidden areas behind and under appliances
• Steam clean hob, sink, and drains
• Wash all kitchen utensils, plates, cups, and pots if included
• Steam clean kitchen floors
• Deep clean all surfaces except sofas and carpet shampoo
• Clean TVs, shelves, lamps, books, ornaments, and units
• Clean switches, sockets, and skirting boards
• Descale and deep clean toilets, baths, showers, and basins
• Clean tiles, grout, shower screens, and seals
• Steam clean bathroom floors
